Client interface and strategic planning for fast-paced scenic design studio.
Design and fabrication of stage sets, themed environments, and specialty props;
Develop and implement design programs; project management including
vendor sourcing, budget estimating and preparation, and supervision
of field crews. Prepare proposals and presentation boards;
fabricate exhibits, stage designs and displays for a wide variety of clients
ranging from theatres to theme parks, museums to malls.
Clients include The Gap, Six Flags Discovery Kingdom and Great America,
Santa Cruz Boardwalk, UPS, and other local and national brands.

Design & Installation Consultant San Francisco, CA 2009–2013

Independent consultant in exhibition design, scenic and theatrical design,
and visual merchandising for a variety of clients including The Museum
of Performance & Design, Theatre Anew, The Shelton Theatre and
General Growth Properties.

Curatorial Asst/Gallery Mgr Albany Int’l Airport Albany, NY. 2008–2009

Assist the Curator in preparing and mounting exhibitions of fine art
presented in a public venue. Responsible for exhibition research,
basic mount making, documenting, and maintenance of three gallery spaces,
managing the loan contracts, arranging for delivery, intake and condition reports,
as well as coordinating the graphics and signage program. Additionally, I managed and maintained the gallery spaces throughout the facility on a daily basis to ensure the highest aesthetic and exhibition standards were being met. The airport is a highly structured and secure environment. As such, I was responsible for adherence to strict procedures regarding the purchasing of supplies and equipment with requisitions and purchase orders.

Visual Director Sonoma County Repertory Theatre, Santa Rosa, CA 1994-2002
Collaborate with directors and other artistic staff on scenic designs;
coordinate and schedule fabrication of sets and props; develop, train and
supervise volunteer staff; write grants, oversee mentorship program.
Work with Executive Director in developing and implementing
cohesive graphics program as it relates to print material and events.
Curate and manage gallery exhibition space.
